Ⅰ. Performance and use
Isothiazolinone is mainly composed of 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-ketone (CMI) and 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-ketone (MI). Isothiazolinones kill by breaking the bonds between bacteria and algal proteins. Isothiazolinone with microbial contact, can quickly and irreversibly inhibit its growth, resulting in the death of microbial cells, so common bacteria, fungi, algae have a strong inhibition and killing. High killing efficiency, good degradation, with no residue, safe operation, good compatibility, strong stability, low use cost. It is miscible with chlorine and most anion, cationic and nonionic surfactants. At high dose, isothiazolinone has remarkable effect on biological clay stripping.
Isothiazolinone is a broad spectrum, high efficiency, low toxicity, non - oxidizing biocide. Widely used in oil fields, paper, pesticides, cutting oil, leather, ink, dye, leather and other industries.

Ⅲ. Use method
When isothiazolinone 2 products are used as slime stripping agent, the concentration is 150-300mg/l. When making fungicide, add every 3-7 days, add dosage 80 ~ 100mg/L. Can be used with chlorine and other oxidized bactericide, can not be used in sulphide containing cooling water system. The compound effect of isothiazolinone and quaternary ammonium salt is better.
When isothiazolinone is used as industrial fungicide, the general concentration is 0.05-0.4%.
Ⅳ. Packaging and storage
Isothiazolinone is packed in plastic drum, each drum is 25kg or according to the user's requirements; Store in indoor cool place, storage period of 10 months.
Ⅴ. Safety protection
Isothiazolinone is corrosive to the skin, causing burns and allergic dermatitis that can last for hours. Do not contact with skin and eyes, should be equipped with protective glasses, rubber gloves and other labor protection supplies, such as contact with the skin, immediately remove the contaminated clothes and shoes, wash with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, the affected area with acetate urea ointment or burn ointment, and immediately seek medical advice.
